“Annie” Jielei An

Staff Accountant

Jielei An came to Victoria in 2014 as an international student and completed her Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2018 from the University of Victoria.

While at UVic, she also took accounting courses at Camosun College and earned a Post-Degree Diploma in Business Administration Accounting Option. She hasn’t stopped studying and is currently in the process of completing the CPA program. We’re grateful for her attention to detail and her ability to learn quickly!

As an international student from China, Jielei prefers to be called Annie, since Chinese names are usually harder to pronounce. After living in Victoria for five years, she decided to stay — not only because it’s a beautiful island, but because the friendly community makes her feel at home.

When she isn’t busy working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her cat and exploring Canada with her friends.
