Casey Ralph

CPA, CA – Owner

Casey Ralph, was born and raised in Victoria, BC and is the owner and founder of C. Ralph & Associates.

Casey spent nearly a decade of his professional career working with names like BDO Canada LLP and Grant Thornton LLP before taking his leadership skills a step further. Using his business acumen, he now serves his community in the best ways he knows how. A lover of numbers and puzzles since early childhood, Casey is passionate about solving problems, implementing solutions, and helping his clients to succeed. Through his practice, he’s able to do all this and more, working with small businesses and families across Victoria to truly make a difference.

Casey received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2013. To further his tax related education, he went on to complete the CPA In-Depth Tax Course in 2017. Previously, he was a graduate of the University of Victoria in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and earned a Professional Accounting Certificate from Camosun College. He also completed the Mutual Funds licensing course through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Casey is a dedicated member of the local Victoria community. In both his personal and professional life, he strives to better the well-being of those around him. He has served on the Board for the Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation for many years and is always searching for new opportunities to support his neighbours in need.

When he’s not busy helping his clients succeed, Casey enjoys swimming, mountain biking, golfing, hiking, and refining his palate at area restaurants.

Christine Bennett

CPA, CA – Tax Manager

Christine received her Chartered Accountant designation in 2006 and has also completed the In-Depth Tax Course. She enjoys helping our clients with tax compliance and working with executors to settle Estate tax matters.

We are grateful for Christine’s tax knowledge attained from valuable past experience – both in her current position and from that with other accounting firms, including ten years as a Manager with Grant Thornton LLP’s tax group.

Her experience has led her to focus on Estate and trust compliance, large corporate tax compliance, voluntary disclosures and personal tax including residency related issues.

Christine was born and raised in Victoria. She has a passion for travel, particularly to countries with beautiful beaches, and enjoys living an active, healthy lifestyle including hiking, weight training, biking and yoga.

Jessica Li

CPA, CGA – Accounting Manager

Jessica immigrated to the Greater Vancouver area in 1999 as an international member of CGA Canada.  She has since gained valuable experience in various accounting roles in public practice and in the real estate industry.  We are very happy that she recently moved to Victoria and joined our team!

We are grateful for Jessica’s extensive experience serving owner managed businesses and assisting a wide variety of clients with accounting and tax work.

Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys what BC’s beautiful coastal communities have to offer.   Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, music, reading and enjoying good food with friends and family.

Shirley Chen

Staff Accountant

Shirley is our talented Staff Accountant.  She is always willing to help out anywhere needed.  Her happy and calm demeanor is very appreciated by both clients and staff.

Shirley grew up in Shanghai.  She came to Victoria in 2015 and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Major at Camosun College.

Shirley is currently completing the CPA program.  We are so grateful to have her with us and even more grateful that she is such a quick learner.  She will make a very successful Chartered Professional Accountant.

When she isn’t busy working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her cat and discovering great Asian restaurants in Victoria.

Kangrui Liu

Staff Accountant

Kangrui is our very skilled Staff Accountant.  Driven by his passion in the accounting field, he takes pride in his learning and in assisting clients with tax and accounting work.  We really appreciate his accuracy and efficiency in all his work and his support in the daily operations of our office.

Kangrui came to Canada in 2014 and decided to call Victoria home after his graduation.  He earned his Bachelors degree with an Accounting Major from Camosun College in 2021.  He is pursuing his CPA designation to further his accounting skills.

Kangrui enjoys various sports such as ping-pong, badminton and basketball.

Luciana Coelho

Administrative Assistant

Luciana is our Administrative Assistant.  She is essential to us for greeting and assisting our clients, keeping our office well organized and providing the highest level of support to our staff.  We are so appreciative that she is part of our team.

We are grateful for Luciana’s prior administrative experience, both in client facing positions and in accounting function roles.

Luciana moved to Canada from Brazil several years ago in pursuit of exciting new opportunities and to allow her family to spend more time together.  She enjoys photography and spending time with her family.
